Community Service
We see ourselves
as a community service organisation, and we broadcast information
messages for other not-for-profit organisations free of charge. If you
have a community service announcement, post it to us about
four
weeks ahead of the event (which gives us two weeks to prepare the
announcement and two weeks to broadcast it). If you prefer, you can
email it to info@yarravalleyfm.com
The information
you send is
typed up into a special form designed so that presenters can read your
CSA (community service announcement) clearly and accurately. There is
no need to send or fax us coloured brochures, posters and so
on -
they can't be seen on radio. A plain-text message, as in a letter or
email, is sufficient - and easier for you.
Committee
of Management
The Committee of
Management meets monthly and looks after the day to day running
of Yarra Valley FM 99.1, and in conjunction with the members as a whole
sets our long-term strategies, mission statements, and philosophies.

Usually you
would
send letters or emails addressed to the secretary,
who will pass them on to the relevant
people. Note
that in the list
